The Committees of Southern Cross Brindabella and Tuggeranong Vikings Swim Clubs are proud to announce that, from 1 April 2003, the two clubs have joined forces under the Tuggeranong Vikings banner to create an awesome new swimming force in the Tuggeranong Valley. Under one banner, we will be in a stronger position to offer high quality swim coaching at all levels in a friendly, social and family oriented environment, all at very competitive prices. Our roster of some 200 swimmers, including 60 at representative level (9 of these at National level) also provides an excellent base for our future development. We are also pleased to recognise here the wonderful support provided to the Club by Coach Greg by announcing that he, too, has joined us all at Vikings. Club stalwart David Murphy is also now coaching at Vikings, so this is an excellent opportunity to renew old friendships. Congratulations and good luck to all swimmers, coaches and parents of the New Tuggeranong Vikings. May the competition and camaraderie push the Vikings, old and new, to new heights in and out of the pool.
